Eduardo Tapias · CEO & Founder, GNSS Academy
I’m Eduardo Tapias, the CEO and founder of GNSS Academy, graduated in Aeronautics in Madrid (Spain). With over 25 passionate years in the Space Sector of Satellite Navigation, I’ve dedicated my career to working in large multinational corporations and smaller firms, focusing primarily on the algorithmic core and system performance of the European Navigation Systems led by the European Space Agency (ESA) and the European Commission (EC).
Throughout my career, I’ve seen first-hand how difficult it is for companies to find well-prepared GNSS engineers, and how limited the specialized training is that truly matches industry needs. That gap, combined with my passion for teaching and my technical experience, led me to create GNSS Academy.
Today, as the Director of GNSS Academy, we continue to witness the rapid growth of this market with the development of new safe, reliable, resilient and precise navigation and timing systems for different safety critical applications over the coming years such as robots and unmanned vehicles.
Driven by passion for Space technology, we support the Space market’s most valuable asset: engineers. Establishing the E2S pathway to connect engineers with leading companies in search of qualified candidates through our remarkable JSNP Master Programme.
